Kyzylsu waterfall is one of the most beautiful places in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region. It is located on the Kyzylsu River, a right tributary of the Chirchik, in a picturesque mountain gorge near the Charvak reservoir. The river valley is known for its cascading waterfalls, among which the largest reaches about 5-6 meters in height.

The waterfall is formed by mountain streams fed by the snows of the Ugama range. In spring and early summer, the waters here are especially full and stormy, forming cool streams and natural baths in the stone. The Kyzylsu gorge is famous not only for its waterfall, but also for its dense greenery — birch groves and shady slopes that create a pleasant microclimate even on the hottest day.

The walking route to the waterfall is 5.6 kilometers and starts from the Sokol camp, which can be reached from Tashkent. If you walk without stopping and at an average pace, then the hike will take 1.5 hours. Next, the hiking trail runs along the riverbed, with several fords and rocky areas. The road is not too difficult, but it requires comfortable shoes and readiness for small ascents and descents.

Kyzylsu Waterfall is a favorite weekend hiking destination for residents of Tashkent and guests of the region. It attracts with its unspoilt nature, fresh mountain air and the opportunity to spend time in silence away from the city. This is a corner of vibrant, almost wild nature that remains memorable even after a short visit.
